Hospitality Sector
Kinyeti has invested in excess of USD 3.4 Million in the construction and renovation of several hotels and residential apartment blocks within Juba.
The funding has mainly been geared towards the completion of the construction works for hotel and apartment blocks as well as the furnishing of these buildings.
The funding for the construction projects has been tailored to the period of the construction by providing sufficient moratorium during the construction phase.
The funding structure of the hotels has also taken into account the seasonality of the hospitality business in South Sudan.
Construction Sector
Kinyeti has funded several contractors who are involved in construction of general buildings, roads and civil works.
The value of investment in this sector is in excess of USD 5.8 Million.
The contracts being executed are mainly awarded by the humanitarian organisations, private businesses and the oil sector. Kinyeti finances the purchase of a team of construction machinery consisting of graders, compactors, excavators, dump trucks, wheel loaders among others.
Kinyeti also provides the contractors with working capital to enable the companies to execute their contracts. Some of the funding in used in mobilize machinery, materials and labor to the different construction sites within South Sudan.
Service Sector
Kinyeti has funded several companies operation within the service sectors in South Sudan.
Asset leasing, installation and maintenance of air-conditioning machine.
Total investment in the service sector is in excess of USD 2.8 Million.
Health Sector
Kinyeti has supported entrepreneurs in the health sector through the purchase of medical equipment consisting of X-Ray equipment, CT scans, ECG equipment, ambulances, laboratory equipment, dental units, hospital beds among others.
This equipment have greatly improved the provision of medical care in the respective hospitals.
Kinyeti has also provided funding for the construction of a health facility within Juba.
Transportation & Logistics
Kinyeti has funded the construction of warehouses within Juba.
The warehouses are used by the humanitarian organizations to store their food and non-food supplies meant for distribution to different areas in South Sudan.
Kinyeti has also funded the ground handling services within the aviation sector in Juba.
This involved the purchase of ground handling equipment for efficient passenger and cargo handling.
Agri-business Sector
Kinyeti has funded an agribusiness entrepreneur who is involved in seed packaging and supply of agricultural inputs to farmers within Juba.
The company is also involved in extension services through a demonstration farm on the outskirts of Juba.
The funding was used to purchase seed packaging machinery.
Energy projects
Kinyeti has funded the purchase of mini grid solar installation to a hotel within Juba which has helped to reduce the energy costs for the company and further reduced its carbon footprint.
